This Privacy Policy explains what personal information VirtuFlea Market ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you use this website, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors, buyers, and sellers on this site.

This site is built on Whop, Inc.'s hosting, accounts, and payments infrastructure. Signing in, checking out, and moving money all run through Whop, so Whop also processes personal information about you as an independent controller/processor under Whop's Privacy Policy. This Policy covers what we, as the operator of this Marketplace, do with your information — it does not replace Whop's own policy.

Account information. When you sign in with "Continue with Whop," we receive basic profile information from your Whop account, such as your name, username, avatar, and account creation date.

Listing content. If you sell, we collect what you submit through the sell flow: item title, brand, category, condition, size, headline, description, photos, price, and your seller bio and general location if you add one.

Transaction information. When you buy or sell, we and Whop process order details — item purchased, amount, currency, order status, and a truncated payment method identifier (such as card brand and last four digits). We do not receive or store your full card number.

Usage information. We store which listings you save or favorite and whether you have dismissed on-site banners, using your browser's local storage on this device.

Device and log information. Like most websites, our hosting platform automatically logs technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, for security and reliability purposes.

We use the information above to:

• Operate the Marketplace — display listings, seller pages, your account, orders, and saved items.
• Process and complete purchases, including passing necessary order and delivery details between a buyer and seller.
• Communicate with you about orders, account activity, and updates to our policies.
• Maintain trust and safety — detect and prevent fraud, abuse, prohibited listings, and violations of our Terms.
• Understand how the Marketplace is used so we can maintain and improve it.

We share personal information only as needed to run the Marketplace:

• With the other party to a transaction. If you buy an item, the Seller receives what they need to fulfill your order (such as your username and, where shipping applies, shipping details you provide at checkout). If you sell, your listing, seller name, username, and avatar are public to anyone browsing the Marketplace.
• With Whop, Inc. as the provider of the accounts, hosting, checkout, and payments infrastructure this site runs on.
• For legal and safety reasons — to comply with law, enforce our Terms and other policies, or protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or the public.
• In a business transfer — if this Marketplace is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that deal, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

All checkout and payout activity is handled by Whop's payments infrastructure. We never see or store your full card number, bank account number, or equivalent payment credentials — those are collected and processed directly by Whop. See Whop's Privacy Policy for how Whop handles payment data.

This site uses your browser's local storage — not third-party advertising cookies we control — to remember your saved/favorited listings and whether you have dismissed an on-site banner, so those preferences persist between visits on the same device and browser. Our hosting platform separately records page views for the operator's own analytics, without our site adding any additional third-party trackers.

You can clear this information at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

We retain account, listing, and transaction information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, and fraud prevention obligations. Listing photos and descriptions are removed when you delete a listing, subject to residual copies kept briefly for backups or active disputes.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can:

• Review and update your account details through your Whop account settings.
• Remove a listing at any time from the "My listings" tab in your account.
• Clear saved items and dismissed banners by clearing local storage for this site.
• Sign out at any time to end your session on this device.
• Request access to, or deletion of, other information we hold about you by contacting us as described in Contact below.

We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law. Some information may be retained where the law or a legitimate business need (such as an open order or dispute) requires it.

The Marketplace is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can remove it.

We rely on Whop's platform-level security controls and take reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Marketplace may be accessed from around the world, and information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own through our hosting and payments providers. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to, and processed in, jurisdictions with data protection laws that may differ from those of your home jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. If we make material changes, we will post the update here before it takes effect.
